The Organizing Committee will not take responsability for hotel booking.
We have selected some hotels located in the center of Avignon. A list of low-priced housing is also available. We recommend that you book rooms as soon as possible as Avignon is among the favourite tourist spots in Provence.

Abstracts & Oral Presentations

Abstract

  • Online submission begins 1st October - Deadline: February, 13, 2015

Oral presentation

  • All presentations will be in English.
  • Contributed oral presentations are 20 minutes long. Please design your presentation to take 15 minutes, leaving 5 minutes for discussion.
  • Keynote (invited) lectures are 30 minutes long. Please design your presentation to take 25 minutes, leaving 5 minutes for discussion.
  • Presentations will be projected from a central computer. Please prepare your talk and save it to a file on a USB drive, titled with your last name and session day and time (powerpoint 2010 or pdf). ONLY PC DATA PROJECTION WILL BE AVAILABLE DURING THE CONGRESS. No personal notebook or laptop will be accepted.
  • Please plan to meet your session chair 30 minutes prior to the start of the session, to upload your presentation and receive session instructions.

Posters

  • Recommended poster size: A0 (119 cm in height × 84 cm in width) or smaller.
  • Poster content should be well organized for clear presentation
  • Use font size and pictures/graphs that can comfortably be read from a distance of 1.5-2.0 meters and avoid too much texts
  • Presenting Authors of the posters are kindly requested to stay close to their poster during poster sessions

Lunch and Gala Dinner

  • Lunches will take place, at University (UAPV), from 8th April to 12th June.
  • The gala dinner will take place, at space Jeanne Laurent, the 10th June.

       If you require a special diet, please indicate it on the registration form.

Miscellaneous

  • All attendees requiring a visa to entre France are urged to apply for their visa, as soon as possible. See France Diplomatie.
  • Weather in Avignon: Avignon has a Mediterranean climate. The weather in June is generaly sunny.  Average day temperatures in June are around 20°C (minimum: 15°C, maximum 30°C) . See the  meteofrance website.
